About this piece:

In this painting, I placed the horse within an emotionally charged space. The black and orange ground is energetic and unsettled, reflecting intensity and inner turbulence—forces that exist around us and quietly shape how we move through the world. The orange is the symbol for MS. Against that backdrop, the horse remains composed, holding clarity even when everything surrounding it feels unstable.

The horse looks outward, steady, maintaining a sense of identity as uncertainty hums in the background. The leather bridle, accented with gold, represents restraint that has been refined—something shaped by tradition and beauty, even as it continues to hold the body in place.
